The North Shore Chapter of the Compassionate Friends would like to share information regarding a Concert to Remember. The concert is a fundraiser for Ben Speaks.
Ben Speaks (www.benspeaks.org) is holding its annual fundraiser on 11-11-11 in Newton Centre, MA. It is entitled “A Concert To Remember” where we use music to take the audience through the various stages of the grief process with music. Also included is a candle lighting ceremony to remember loved ones.
This year we welcome the very talented recording artist, singer/songwriter Karen Taylor-Good (www.karentaylorgood.com) to headline the concert. Karen is the composer of the Compassionate Friends’ song “Precious Child” and will be performing it at this concert.
Ben Speaks is in the process of producing a recording entitled “Forever In My Heart”, a compilation of 16 songs donated by several musicians from the Empower Music Association (of which Karen is a member). “Precious Child” is included on this CD and it will be available at the 11-11-11 concert for a mere $5.00 suggested donation.
